Lot's of good stuff happening at the track! The Gyro Hobbies Race for the Sponsorship will be help November 29th at OC/RC Raceway. Visit the RCTech.net thread or Click Here for more information on the Gyro Hobbies Race and Sponsorship Program and we hope to see you there!

On January 17th 2009 OC/RC will host the first Slash-A-Paluza race which will be 5 non stop hours of Slash racing action. More information to come soon!

OC/RC will also begin the 1st Annual Saturday Series on February 28th 2009. This new series will be held on the 4th Saturday of each month starting in February. More informaiton will be available on the site shortly.

We will also be changing the entire Track Layout on Monday 11.10.2008, OC/RC, keeping it Fresh!

August 31st 2008

The dust has settled and everyone that attended will tell you that the 1st Annual Surf City Classic at OC/RC was a complete success. OC/RC saw 155 entries and 19 action packed heats. Thanks to Jeremy Felles for running an amazing program and keeping the race day flowing.

$3,000.00 was on the line for the Expert Modified classes with the big winner's for the day being Ryan Cavalieri and OC/RC local Steven Hartson both of Team Associated.

The 2wd Mod Buggy A-Main had to have been the most exciting race of the day. "RC", who was TQ for the race, made a rare bobble early in the race which allowed Hartson to make his move and take over the lead. Steven then laid down some flawless laps to check out and grow his lead to a half of a lap. "RC" had a strong push at the end but Hartson was too much on this day and took the win. Great job Steven !

Congratulations to all of our winners and participants for making this 1st Annual race a memorable one. Race Results are posted so be sure to check em out and visit the Surf City Classic page for pictures of the event. We can't wait for next year!

OC/RC has modified the layout a bit for this week's Surf City Classic race which will be held on August 30th 2008. Doors will Open at 5 am and Practice will begin at 6 am with the First race starting at 9 am.

Come on out and checkout the new layout and ride the wave! (you gotta come see it to know what we are talking about)

OC/RC has a fresh layout! Thanks to the masterful designs of Thunder Wessels and the hard work of Jeremy Felles and many a local racer, OC/RC has a brand new track in place.

Keeping with the OC/RC tradition the track has lot's of hits and elevation changes as well as a huge Double. Come on out and throw down a few packs and see if you can tackle the new track and find the fast lines !

New Update to the Wednesday Night Points Series! Racing will revert back to the 7PM start time beginning Wednesday, August 6th.

We have also updated the Points Sheet so check out the Points Series page for the current standings.
